Talent Profiles are available for current Government of Saskatchewan employees only. Your Talent Profile in GEM is where you can highlight your skills, experience and qualifications. It brings your information together in one place and helps you keep track of your professional background as you grow in your career with the Government of Saskatchewan.
How You Use It
You can use your Talent Profile to:
- Record your skills, qualifications and experience;
- Highlight your education, certifications and training;
- Capture your work history, achievements and career milestones; and
- Store attachments such as resumes, cover letters, letters of recommendation, copies of credentials, etc.
If you’ve added content to your Talent Profile, it is automatically included as part of your application when applying for an internal job.
Attachments are stored, but not automatically pulled and need to be added manually to every application.

Your Talent Profile supports your career development by helping you maintain a clear and organized record of your experience, skills and strengths to stay ready for future internal job opportunities. Keeping it updated ensures your information is accurate whenever new opportunities arise.

Privacy:
Your Talent Profile is protected and only accessible to authorized individuals within the organization, including:
- Public Service Commission human resources practitioners.
- Hiring managers, as part of a job application, view a snapshot of an employee’s completed Talent Profile, ensuring they see only the relevant staffing information.
- Your supervisor/direct manager and their leaders, up to the deputy minister Level.
Your information will be managed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and organizational privacy practices.
