LinkedIn Talent Pools are now available to all ministries to support positions identified as challenging to fill.
Hiring managers have access to the lists of potentially qualified applicants collected through relevant Talent Pools. All candidates are reviewed and categorized according to their role/function/expertise. Candidates are also engaged through monthly connection emails that contain information about current opportunities. Virtual information sessions by the Public Service Commission, advertised on LinkedIn, will also be available for candidates to learn about the position and showcase an employee in the same position when possible.

Accessing Talent Pool Candidates
If you are a hiring manager and have an upcoming competition which would benefit from the LinkedIn Talent Pool, reach out to your HR Business Partner. This consultation should happen prior to the competition being posted to adjust competition timelines if necessary. You may want to alter the timeline for your competition due to the timing of a relevant Talent Pool.
Please note that all candidates must still apply for any position through an open competition and go through the assessment process. LinkedIn Talent Pool candidates are not given preferential treatment in the application or interview process.
